Emma Lin Hurlbert

Emma Lin Hurlbert is a first year student in the IMSISS programme, focusing on forced migration and security in East Africa. Emma holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of British Columbia, through which she also completed study abroad semesters in Cairo and Paris. Emma has worked as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for EQWIP HUBs in Mwanza, Tanzania, a project which provided entrepreneurship and employability training to youth as part of Canada's feminist and environmentally sustainable foreign policy.
