Emma van Heeswijk
Emma is an IMSISS master student and has a passion for topics regarding environmental change, cyber-security, and peacebuilding. Following the completion of her undergraduate studies in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology in the Netherlands, with a concentration on Criminology, she gained first-hand experiences in ethnographic fieldwork in Israel and Palestine. The research focused on national security matters and the impact it takes on intercultural exchange and collective identity forming.
